Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixie (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use Pixie. It covers browsing, photo uploads, guest checkout, accounts, payments, and delivery.

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

  • Account and contact: name, email, phone, password (stored as a hash).
  • Guest checkout: email, phone, and shipping address without creating an account.
  • Pet content: uploaded photos, pet name, pet type, and generated preview/final images.
  • Orders: products, amounts, status, payment references, shipping details, and quality-control photos we take of finished prints.
  • Technical: IP address, device/browser data, and session cookies used for login, cart, and abuse prevention (rate limits).
  • Analytics (optional): if Google Analytics is enabled, pages visited, approximate location, and device information.

3. How we use data

  • to create previews and paid portraits;
  • to take payment, fulfill, ship, and support orders;
  • to prevent abuse and control AI generation cost;
  • to keep records required for accounting, tax, and disputes;
  • to email order updates (paid, shipped, delivered);
  • to improve the Service using aggregated operational data.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI processing (OpenAI)

To generate a portrait, we send your pet photo and a locked style prompt to our AI provider (currently OpenAI), which processes that content on servers outside Lebanon (typically in the United States). We do this only to provide the Service you requested. We do not use your photos to train our own public models.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed by Whish Money. We receive payment status and reference numbers. We do not store full payment-instrument secrets. Whish’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that payment step. Cash-on-delivery orders do not send card details to a payment provider.

6. Printers, framers, and couriers

For physical orders we share the final image and necessary order details with print and framing partners, and we share name, phone, and address with the courier. They may use this data only to fulfill your order.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies and session storage are required to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and protect the Service. If Google Analytics is turned on, that tool sets additional cookies. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the shop may not work if essential cookies are disabled.

8. How long we keep data

  • Unused pet photos: if you upload a photo and do not complete a paid order linked to that pet, we delete the original photo file after 90 days. Pet or generation records may remain in anonymized or limited form for operations.
  • Paid orders: we keep the photo, final image, and quality-control images as needed for fulfillment, reprints, and disputes, typically up to 24 months after delivery, unless a longer period is required for a claim.
  • Orders, invoices, and payment logs: kept for the period required by Lebanese accounting and tax rules.
  • Accounts: kept while the account is open. After deletion we remove or anonymize data we no longer need, except records we must retain by law.

9. International transfers

Your photo and related data may be processed in Lebanon (our hosting) and in other countries by OpenAI, payment, analytics, and (later) cloud storage providers. By using the Service you understand this transfer is required to generate your portrait and complete your order.

10. Your rights

Subject to Lebanese law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email contact@ctnsolution.com. We may need to verify your identity. We cannot delete invoices or transaction records we are legally required to keep, and deletion may prevent reprints of a past order.

11. Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. A parent or guardian may order a portrait of a family pet.

12. Security

We use HTTPS, access-controlled staff accounts, two-factor authentication for administrators when enabled, and file-type and size checks on uploads. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Changes

We may update this policy. The version shown at the top applies from the last-updated date. Material changes that affect how we handle new orders will be reflected in the version recorded when you check out.
